That’s great! Drop me an e-mail at email@example.com and we’ll get the ball rolling. What happens next depends:
If you are part of a regular faith community:
First I’ll reach out to your clergy to introduce myself. Wayfinders asks very little of busy clergy, but it is very important that we be in touch initially.
Once I have clergy go-ahead, you and I can work on recruiting another 4 members for your team. I’ll ask you to point people to my website to get interest going. If you are in Maine, I can come to your congregation and make a presentation. Outside of Maine, I’d need you to do the recruiting. I’m happy to Skype with a group of interested people – it’s easy and I can help you get set up.
2. If you are not part of a regular faith community
While I’m a Christian, I have happily worked with people of other faiths and of no faith at all. Whatever your beliefs, there is a world out there hungry for your gifts.
Gather 4 or 5 friends who are interested, and contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org. We’ll work out the travel once you’ve got the group! (I’ve led retreats all over the country.)
