What Teammates Say
With an encouraging team to hold you accountable, an inspirational leader like Darreby, and a wonderful system designed by her to bring their dreams into micro-actions that can be achieved right away, your life is empowered. Strongly recommend! P. Zhao
What worked for me: learning to ask for help! And having others appreciate what I accomplished. Ellen E.
One thing I’ll be grateful for this Thanksgiving is seeing the light and the inspiration to be an active volunteer for Vermont Adaptive this winter, with special attention to veterans…. Thank you again for your significant leadership in helping me and other deacons perceive the realistic opportunity to open a door that seemed like it wouldn’t open, to use tools and to have a process where their colleagues and others have got their back. An amazing thing is that you didn’t suggest anything specific to anyone, you suggested some tools and asked people to respond to certain questions going around the room. Grace came. Steve R.
What I had was a deep desire to help others — and a dysfunctional shop to do the work in. My first action was only to move a box from point A to point B in the basement … so what … no judgement. As the weeks drew on, I was seeing more and more floor and less and less junk in my way. I was able to start helping out again. I had space for a woodworking project and the tools at hand for my son and his girlfriend. I was able to tear down and repair a swivel bar stool without tripping over junk piles or not being able to find screws. I am now building shelves and have plans for a work table. This shop has been a back burner idea for 20 years, and without Wayfinders; I would never have started making it happen. Arne D.
You do not have to have “lost your way” to benefit from an investment of time in joining a Wayfinders group. All of us know, at least to some degree, how to steer our life boat. Wayfinders encourages you to create a map and helps you read the compass. Leigh S.
Darreby’s evident love of this calling, and her positive outlook that Wayfinders has something to offer everyone, gives hope to each that they are not alone – and that a “dream” can be reached. Marisa B.
WAYFINDERS IS for all who want to kindle a spark of inspiration in their lives. Darreby Ambler’s gifts for deep listening, engaging enthusiasm and trust-building provide a roadmap for those who are hoping to explore new pathways. Maria H.

Learning the tools of SFD and micro-movements to get things done was invaluable. And drawing a map of steps to get to your goal is a life-changer for me. I’m teaching it to my kids! Jim S.
Wayfinders worked for me because it kept me on track. My ideas became action, and I accomplished my goal! Pat F.
It helped me realize that although our dreams may be big, there are always simple and small steps to accomplishing them. I left with a solid foundation of how to tackle my long-term and short-term goals and ultimately a stronger bond with my fellow senior girls (not to mention a new friend in Darreby). Erika L.
Like a prayer team with a purpose! Darreby’s excitement and love are contagious! Marie B.
I always think it is worth it to join a program if you can get just 1 nugget…and Wayfinders offers a gold mine. Leslie M.
The team retreat helped me to fully clarify what brings me the greatest sense of joy and accomplishment – photography. With the help of my strong and supportive team I was able to bring to fruition my goal of sharing my work with others. In early March I mounted a display of 25 of my images at my church. The response has been great!. More importantly, every time I walk into the church I am astonished that I was able to make my passion real. I would never have taken this risk without the support of my team. Louis C.
It’s probably safe to say that most of us have asked the questions, “What am I called to do?” and “What is God’s plan for me?” Well, if you want to explore the possibilities, consider joining a Wayfinders team and plan to have fun! Two months into our journey together, the six of us have been turned loose by Darreby to continue to share our individual pursuits, celebrating accomplishments as well as difficulties. Getting to know each other in an intentional and spiritual way is truly a gift. Tancy M.
Goals are much harder to achieve on your own. Team support is awesome. If you are on the fence about joining a team, as they say at Nike, “Just Do It.” Bruce B.
Definition of “Wayfinders” – finding your way surrounded by caring and thoughtful travelers. We are all on a journey, why not share and encourage each other along the way with whatever means we can. It’s fun and a great way to add a new dimension to relationships. Jackie P.
